Course Overview

The Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (FE and Skills) is a qualification designed to prepare educators for teaching in diverse Further Education contexts. This diploma replaces the former Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, aligning with the latest Occupational Standards.

The Diploma in Teaching is a level 5 qualification in teaching. It has both theoretical and practical teaching elements. The Diploma in Teaching is approved by the Society for Education and Training as initial teacher training. It can be followed by undertaking QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) to qualify you as a teacher on par with those with QTS.

Seminars focus on a particular topic exploring theory and practice that you can implement in your teaching practice straight away.

Your diploma credits can be used towards a degree in the future (check with the degree awarding institution).

Our next programme will commence in February 2025 and will be delivered through weekly live sessions held every Monday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM UK time.
